We had the honour of participating in the conference promoted by Unió Catalana d’Hospitals on Artificial Intelligence AI: a mosaic of realities in Health, exploring the opportunities and how to manage the risks that this technology entails. The Health/ AI Observatory (model, methodology and indicators) was presented by the Fundació TIC Salut Social, a breakthrough for the sector. Among other interventions, Alberto Martín Martínez, co-founder of AIMS-Medical, presented the innovative AIMS-OD platform for oropharyngeal dysphagia screening at Consorci Sanitari del Maresme. This tool provides a systematic and universal screening for dysphagia during hospital admission, allowing the most appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic strategy to be adopted for each patient. It is clear that AI has a positive impact on clinical practice, especially when integrated into clinical settings to improve the experience of patients and professionals.
