From the 2nd to the 3rd of March, AIMS Medical participated in 4YFN 2026 in Barcelona, the leading startup event held alongside the Mobile World Congress. The team showcased its healthcare innovation projects at the TecnoCampus stand, connecting with professionals, investors, and sector leaders.
A key highlight was the visit from the Catalan Minister of Health, Olga Pané, on the 2nd of March. Her presence at MWC and 4YFN 2026 underscored the digital transformation of the health system as a shared priority for the Catalan Government and a commitment of the region. The focus is on a public health model capable of incorporating technology with clinical, ethical, and citizen-service criteria, including shared artificial intelligence initiatives led by Fundació TIC Salut i Social, Biocat, and the BioRegion of Catalonia.
Our team—Neus Gimenez Carabaza, Cristina Amadó Ruiz, Adil El Haji, and Oleksandra Garas—welcomed visitors to our stand, sharing our vision and presenting our AI-based solution (AIMS-OD).
As part of the event’s exciting competition, our manager Neus Gimenez Carabaza was among the participants, taking the stage to showcase her vision and represent the innovative spirit of AIMS Medical in the race for the 4YFN26 Best Spin-off award.
Beyond the stand and the competition, we engaged in valuable networking and participated in forward-looking discussions on the future of health innovation.
We extend our thanks to our partners for their support: IGTP, Consorci Sanitari del Maresme, CatSalut, ACCIÓ, CSC, FUREGA, and TecnoCampus.
