- AIMS MEDICAL participated in the 34th Barcelona Healthcare Investment Forum, hosted by the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona. OurCEO, Neus Giménez, presented the company’s mission to reduce the under-diagnosis of oropharyngeal dysphagia in Europe, where 80% of the 30 million cases go undiagnosed.

- AIMS MEDICAL was awarded Best Spanish Oral Communication at the 2024 European Society of Geriatric Medicine (EUGMS) Congress for its study on aspiration pneumonia using artificial intelligence algorithms.
- AIMS-OD software improves the detection and diagnosis of aspiration pneumonia in one-third of geriatric patients hospitalized for pneumonia, enabling fast and accurate identification of at-risk patients and improving clinical management.

On 9 November, the AIMS MEDICAL team, located in the Tecnocampus incubator, played a leading role in the PECT Mataró-Maresme Research Conference, which was successfully held at the Tecnocampus in Mataró.

Adil El Haji led an information stand where visitors had the opportunity to understand in depth the company’s functions, meet its dedicated team and identify the problem of under-diagnosis of dysphagia and how AIMS-OD proposes a fast, quality and cost-efficient solution.
