- AIMS MEDICAL participated in the 34th Barcelona Healthcare Investment Forum, hosted by the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona. OurCEO, Neus Giménez, presented the company’s mission to reduce the under-diagnosis of oropharyngeal dysphagia in Europe, where 80% of the 30 million cases go undiagnosed.
- AIMS-OD, a software as a service, enabling rapid, large-scale screening, is already being piloted in Catalan public hospitals through CatSalut’s Transforming Projects. AIMS MEDICAL is now seeking seed funding to expand globally and bring this innovative solution to market.

- AIMS MEDICAL welcomed the co-founders of Scicake at our Tecnocampus office on October 24th to explore potential collaborations in healthcare innovation through AI and machine learning.
- This meeting opens the door to future projects that advance early detection technologies for high-risk diseases, aligning both companies’ missions to improve patient care.

- AIMS MEDICAL was awarded Best Spanish Oral Communication at the 2024 European Society of Geriatric Medicine (EUGMS) Congress for its study on aspiration pneumonia using artificial intelligence algorithms.
- The AIMS-OD software improves the detection and diagnosis of aspiration pneumonia in one-third of geriatric patients hospitalized for pneumonia, enabling fast and accurate identification of at-risk patients and improving clinical management.

- AIMS Medical S.L. proudly showcased its cutting-edge innovations at the 4YFN (4 Years From Now) event, held in February 2024. Located at Stand 8.1C22.2B, the team, led by Alberto Martín and Cristina Amadó, interacted with visitors on 28th and 29th February.
- Our main objectives in attending 4YFN included increasing our company’s visibility, connecting with other leading companies in the sector, observing the latest technological trends and continuously learning on both a personal and professional level.

On 9 November, the AIMS MEDICAL team, located in the Tecnocampus incubator, played a leading role in the PECT Mataró-Maresme Research Conference, which was successfully held at the Tecnocampus in Mataró.

Adil El Haji led an information stand where visitors had the opportunity to understand in depth the company’s functions, meet its dedicated team and identify the problem of under-diagnosis of dysphagia and how AIMS-OD proposes a fast, quality and cost-efficient solution.
